In the Berea area, there is a tree that requires removal to prevent further damage to poles and lines.
***URECC crews have determined that we will have to take an outage to remove the tree and make necessary repairs. The repairs should start around 5pm and it is estimated that the outage will last approximately 3 to 4 hours.***
Crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore your power. Your patience is greatly appreciated!
Members Helping Members
Because there are times in life when we could all use a helping hand.
There comes a time when we all could use a helping hand. There are members of URECC that need assistance. Whether these families and individuals are elderly, unemployed, sick, single parents, or just those needing a hand to get by for awhile, they could use your help.

State and private agencies that provide utility assistance are low on funds to help these neighbors. If you would like to help those in need, There are two opportunities for you to do so:
1. Donate your capital credits to the utility assistance organizations URECC works with year-round. please sign below and return this form to Upshur Rural Electric Cooperative. Funds donated by you will be forwarded to the agencies that help Upshur Rural Electric Cooperative members in the county in which you live.
2. You can make monetary donations directly to these utility assistance agencies. Please see the list of agencies below to directly contact them for details on donating to help your neighbors.
