We want to inform you about a planned power outage on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from approximately 1 AM to 5 AM. We plan to backfeed as much as we can, but some areas may still be affected.

By executive order, Franklin D. Roosevelt creates Rural Electrification Administration (REA). United States Congress approves funding for rural electric co-operatives.
2023
Now over 35,000 members strong, URECC is a leader in the State of Texas while continuing to bring East Texas rural citizens reliable, diversified, affordable electricity.
