URECC Lobby will be closed beginning Friday, March 15th.
For the safety of our members and employees, the URECC LOBBY will be temporarily closed beginning Friday, March 20th. The decision to close our lobby is at the advisement of the Critical Disease Center, the Public Utilities Commission, and local, state and federal government officials in attempt to reduce the risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus by limiting social interaction.
The URECC employees will still be working for our members during normal business hours doing regular job duties. They will still be available for regular business and questions via phone, email, the SmartHub App chat, and fax. All contact information is listed below.
If you need to make a payment, you can do so by phone, through our URECC SmartHub app, online with our website, through MoneyGram.com and USPS mail. If you need to pay with cash, check or credit card two kiosks will be available at the URECC offices at 1200 West Tyler Street in Gilmer: one is located in the drive-through area on the west end of the building, with the other just to the left of the lobby entrance. URECC also has a bank draft program for monthly automatic payments. More information about bank draft is available at URECC.coop>Service>Ways to Pay.
If you or your company needs official forms from URECC, those can be downloaded in PDF format at URECC.coop>Service>Reports and Forms. All forms and documents, and signatures needed can be scanned and emailed to URECC, or faxed to our offices (See contact numbers below.), or the majority of our documents can be signed digitally through Docusign. If you do not have internet access the forms may be mailed of faxed to you by request.
Our dispatch services will still be monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for reports of disruption of service, emergencies, or other needs of our members.
Our call center will be open normal hours to help members with any information, assistance, or questions they have.
The goal of URECC at all times is to take care of our members needs and to provide affordable diversified, reliable energy. We hope that our members will take all precautions to take care of themselves, families, and neighbors during this pandemic. Rest assured URECC is here to help you and to keep the lights on just as it has done since 1937. We will continue to communicate with you through mail, emails, calls, SmartHub App and social medias.
