***URECC OUTAGE UPDATE***
***Rocky Mound Area, as of 7am****
Crews continue to work in the Rocky Mound area repairing broken poles and downed power lines. That area received a lot of rain in a short time frame and it is very wet, which has made it more challenging for our crews to get around. There were a lot of trees down as well. We also had a lot of transformers that were hit by lightning.
Crews will continue to work as quickly and safely as possible to get everything restored. Thank you for your patience. Please be safe and away from any downed powerlines!
